Classes Minimize

The following is a list of current classes run by Pilates Heath Physiotherapy.  

 

At the beginning of most terms, beginner Registration classes are held for those interested in starting  Pilates classes for the first time.  It is important to attend these classes as it allows the physiotherapist to meet  you and you to meet the physiotherapist.  Basic information on technique, principles and theory is provided.  This helps to give you a better understanding of the technique so that you can get the most out of learning Pilates.  

Pilates is an holistic body/mind technique - if you do not understand the basic principles, at best, you will not get the most out of learning this technique and at worst, you may injure yourself.  It should not be assumed that because Pilates is not an exercise technique that is fast moving that it is easy. Pilates requires a lot of concentration and considerable skill and effort to perform correctly and to gain real benefits.
