Happy Christmas from everyone at Pilates Health Physiotherapy !
We are taking a short break over the festive season. If you would like to keep up your Pilates, you can sign up for the video library for the two week period. See below. Stay safe during these difficult times, and we look forward to seeing you back online on 4th January, 2021.
Pilates Health Physiotherapy is a professional assessment, management and exercise programme based in the Pilates tradition.
Pilates Health Physiotherapy is about learning better postures, re-learning better breathing patterns, discovering the art of relaxation, improving body awareness and how you use your body in your everyday life, and about how to improve the quality of your movement. Movement is central to our lives - it effects our health in every possible way. We rely on movement for attending to all our basic needs. Movement helps us to maintain a healthy cardiovascular system; a healthy cardiovascular system in turn, keeps all our organs healthy, not the least of which is our brain. A healthy and active brain gives us the motivation to work, learn and engage in our surroundings and with others.
Pilates Health Physiotherapy therefore offers an holistic preventative and therapeutic approach to better movement.
Suited to all ages and abilities...
Movement is life...
We recognise how important it is for us all to continue with exercise and social routines, even if we cannot share the same room.
HCPC are the Health and Care Professions Council. They are a regulator, and are set up to protect the public. To do this, they keep a Register of health and care professionals who meet our standards for their training, professional skills, behaviour and health.
